Paul-- I had the same problem recently and found this solution posted on the Apple Community Discussions: In Preview, when attempting to print, click the down arrow next to the printer model. The expanded dialog box has "Scale to Fit" selected. There is a percentage in the grayed out box after "Scale." Select "Scale" instead of "Scale to Fit" and type 100 in place of the number in the box, leaving the "%" character. Then, WITHOUT LEAVING THIS BOX, type the "return" key. DO NOT click the "Print" button at the bottom, use the "return" key while the cursor is in the number box. --Mary On Jul 3, 2011, at 7:20 AM, Paul Moortgat wrote: > When I make a print from Preview, the image always enlarges to the maximum A4 page size no matter how small the image was. > I can change the percentage but I can't see it. I've to enter which then in a short flash I can see the reduced size. The print then is indeed smaller. > I just would like to be able to print 100% for smaller images. > > Paul Moortgat > _______________________________________________ > X4U mailing list > X4U at listserver.themacintoshguy.com > http://listserver.themacintoshguy.com/mailman/listinfo/x4u > > Seven Cent Deals - Great legacy stuff Great Legacy Price > http://www.drbott.com/prod/db.lasso?cat=Seven+Cent+Deal
