[X4U] Cursor to wastebasket

And now and then I get other strange things.  The Mac will not wake  
after sleep.  I've to press the power button to come out of sleep (no  
restart)
Every few months when he awakes I get a screen full of colored  
blocks.  Need to restart.
Now and then suddenly all the icons on the desktop disappear for  
several seconds.  They come then back and everything works.
I use 10.5.8.  I had this on previous versions as well.
