[X4U] Writing to external Blu-Ray

I use 10.6.8 and try to write from within FCP X and Toast 11 to a Blu-Ray disk (lucky rewritable)
It will not work from within FCP X and Toast gives an error after 2/3 writing.
The error is:

The drive reported an error:
Sense Key - HARDWARE ERROR
Sense Code = 0x44
INTERNAL TARGET FAILURE

I tried an eSata cable and Firewire.  And it worked before months ago.
