[X4U] Hot iMac-24

I have a 24" iMac, running OSX-Lion; this computer runs all day, and is cycled off every night.  Recently, I have noticed it gets very hot to the touch - especially noticeable around the top of the unit, and around the vents located there.  But is also hot on the back, a little lower.

I have not noticed this in the past, but maybe because I didn't look (?). Anyway, wondering if this is a problem, and if there are any tests I should be running.  Thanks, in advance...
