Keep hoping the next update to Lion will fix things. Thanks Herb..sorry you're having those problems...I noticed that when I click on items on the desktop in lion..1 click to change the name, the name disappears from view. If I type the new name, then hit enter again, the newly-typed name appears, but that is certainly whack behavior. I share your hope that a future Lion update will cure these woes, but disheartened by what appears to be on the slate: fixing cloud problems and other goodies Apple is promoting, while appearing to ignore egregious, show-stopping problems like the ones you, I and others are struggling with. I am for now, happily back in Snow Leopard, which is solid and excellent. I do miss some of Lion's improvement; but NONE of its problems. Anybody else?
