[X4U] Dashboard acting weird (X-post)

iMac 3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 
OS X 10.7.3
Dashboard 1.8

I opened Dashboard with F12 and most of my widgets are unresponsive (Cannot enter data).
I can click-and-drag to reposition them.
I can add/delete widgets using 'Manage Widgets'.
For example I cannot enter anything into ...
Dictionary
Calculator
Unit converter
Translation
Many more.

Those that work...
 Day in history (Displays correctly and responds to click on the i [flips and I can change the calendar].
