[X4U] gizmo controlling Dock un-hide speed?

Hi, John;

A little clarification please on how exactly to implement this? I pasted that into a terminal window and overwrote the XXX.XX with various numbers like 10.00, 60.00 and 300.00 but this produced no change in dock spring delay time.

Am I looking at this incorrectly?
