Hello Paul

Are you using Skype Version 6.2 (I personally hate it and preferred the older version, but when I go back I get a message saying there is an update install now, no option to cancel/ignore) if so...

Plan B:  When you open Skype, go to Contacts (left side bar), look at the top of the right window there is Auto Video, Online, Auto Answer, All and Skype, I have selected Skype and it only shows Skype Contacts.
