5 digits can be registered as logins. They don't have to belong to you, ie. you can let the kids have access or a spouse. Or if you want you could use a toe as one. Of course you will set up the standard password login too. You can make it more complicated than the 4 digit default since you won't be accessing the phone that way very often. You can easily delete the touch logins and redo them if you want but you need your passcode to do that. My experience is the the touch login works very well. When you set up a touch login you want to start by holding the phone in the same position that you would normally be holding it when you use the touch login to open it. That way the login will be recognized more easily. The phone asks for you to try again if it doesn't recognize your finger! And you can always use your passcode to gain access.
