Wes, In that folder are 90 files, but I don't see one which has 'profile' in it. The problem must have something to do with reading PDF files. I can't read any PDF file now in Firefox 24. I copy the address I get to Safari and read it there (or save it) If I rename that strange folder, will everything keep working? Remove them from ~/Library/Preferences and/or delete your profile in ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/some-weird-folder-name. Or just rename the some-weird-folder-name to something else if you want to try and salvage any bookmarks which you can get in bookmarkbackups. > > -wes > > > On Tue, Oct 15, 2013 at 3:32 PM, Paul Moortgat <paul.moortgat at pandora.be> wrote: > http://prime.be/assets/AZ/TV-gids.pdf > but now after a crash of the Mac (10.6.8) I can't open it anymore in Firefox 24. > It will open in Safari. > I tried to install different extra readers, but it will not work anymore. > > I can read an error message partly that the pdf reader is not adequate to open the file. > > Paul Moortgat
