What version of Office/Word is used on the Macbook? If it's Word 2004, and she's saving .docx out of World 2007, then the docs won't open; she'll need to save them with a .doc rather than.docx extension.<BR>

If the Macbook is running Word 2008, they should open fine.<BR>

Another possibility is that she's using Word 2007 on a Windows partition on the Macbook -- is this the case?</SPAN></FONT>
