You can also try to kill the blued process with Process Wizard. Then it 
restarts, so it is like restarting bluetooth. Unplugging-repluggin 
should also work, but in the case of an integrated adapter, this is 
really not the case. :-)

There are two different methods to connect ot GPRS:
- using a GPRS modem script of phone brand, and make settings on the 
Mac, then when it dials, it sends apn, login, pass etc. settings to the 
phone with special init strings
- setting GPRS in the phone, and tell the phone with a special phone 
number to initiate the GPRS connection using that settings (usually 
*99***1#, *99#, *99***#, *99***2#, etc.)
