This may have already been touched on before, but isnt the 610 a 900/1800/1900 phone while the 616 is geared more to being an 850/1900 and only one of the int'l bands? I think an unlocked 616 would be a better deal since even with T-Mob, you could roam on to the 850 US networks that TMo has contracts with. Eg: Cingular and AT&T.
