Some Bluetooth dongles have either a ROM built in which can not be
overwrited by a computer, some
requre to upload driver from computer hard disk. It is possilbe if Apple
modify their driver and cause
incompatibility. However, the chance is quite small.

sorry, do you mean that the Dlink dongle, once upgraded with Apple
firmware, won't work with a PC? i don't see how that could apply to a
built-in piece, which is why I ask....or do you mean the keyboard is now
incompatible with a PC?
