i thought you COULD get replacement batteries put in i am sure that a while ago i came across something about this (after dropping mine in the toilet, and btw it still works tho went a bit mad for a day or 2) i will be very angry too, if the battery cannot be replaced have you tried contacting sony ericcson directly? like thro their website??
