[BTM] Imac does not seem to recognize device in USB

I have an external dongle too, the Apple-blessed one by D-Link.

Some folks have reported Bluetooth problems with the OS X 10.4.4
update.

One suggestion is to reset your NVRAM, PRAM, etc.
