Everything is cheaper after Christmas...

Apple usually announces new stuff in Jan/Feb rather than in Oc/Nov 
since delivery is always a problem and hopes to unload the old stuff 
for the holidays.

The best theorey to use when buying a book is to first learn all of the 
facts, used prices, etc. Then count your pennies and TRY to make an 
educated decision. Then, when your head is about to implode/explode 
make an impulsive decision and be happy.
