You can add software, fonts, etc. to the user directory even if you don't know an admin password. You can make a backup of the currently running user and then add those files to any X system running. While the security features are valuable for a corporation that doesn't have built in CDs or Floppies or allow any other method of copying, they are a pain for the single user. Someone said leaving the admin password blank bypasses all of the security features. PS: this is one area where Apple's Switcher ads have been a little silent. They show a person plugging in a firewire cable to instantly download pictues but has anyone seen any ad for doing the same with printers, adding software, etc?
