I understand your feelings, but Apple is taking advantage of the latest and greatest hardware. One thing is the common hardware platform, which came post iBeige G3 (one of my machines). It's going to work better for programming and compatability. It does seem like they are jacking people around, but I think they are making the best decisions they can make. They are doing the best that they can do under the circumstances. I don't think they are trying for planned obsolence. Sorry to hear about you missing out on Quartz Extreme. Hang in there.
