iBook Bad RAM?

This is actually starting to make sense - I mean, when I try to boot from 
a CD this thing really gives me crap (lots of freezes, but I eventually 
get through), and I haven't had these problems on OS 9 or 10.1 (maybe 
because of the less RAM use?).

Is there anything I can do to test my RAM, and if so, what can I do if it 
is bad?
