on the fateful day of 12/18/02 2:47 PM, in a dazzling display of literary acumen, patrick fisher at patrick.m.fisher at wamu.net altered the course of history by digitally penning the words: > Okay, I tend to think more liberals, more than conservatives, tend to use > Macs, > although it is true that Bush uses a Mac. Yes, GW had a Wall Street clearly visible (yopu could see the white apple on the lid) in at least one campaign photo, and Gore was quoted, "I used to use a Mac, but I decided to switch to WinDOS because of software availability." I can't imagine what a person's political persuasion would have to do with their choice of computer platform. I assume you base that on the idea that big business is Republican and artsy types are Democrat, but that's a whole lot of perception. I'm a member of the Christian Mac Users Group <http://www.cmug.org> which is predominantly Republican. Yeah, that's a logical fallacy to say, "I know a lot of people like this, so that must be the majority," but I'm saying I'd be hesitant to paint with such broad strokes. I know of a lot of conservative (read: Pro-life, therefore Republican) Christian schools that have heavy Mac emphases. -- | Bought with a Price, -+- Dale | Mac Stuff & cure for death: http://www.InfinityLtd.org |4U Jesus took your place so you could go to His place.
