As if the iBook's plastic cover was scratch resistant...?
According to the Powerpage, Apple has finally resolved the tiPaint
issue and can now offer replacements and maybe fixups. Contact support
and see what they have to say.
There are a lot of potentially damaging cases being offered to carry
Powerbooks and iBooks as well as notebooks. One has to examine them
very carefully for potential scratch points.
