Connecting a clamshell to a Nokia?

My wife wants to connect her Nokia 5165 (no IR) to her Blueberry clamshell
iBook (1st gen). We have US Cellular if it matters. She wants to be able to
use that phone as a modem when we're on the road. Can it be done, and if so,
how so? TIA.
