I just found this on an online forum: "A .cda isn't the song, its really just a shortcut to the song on the CD. Copying it to your harddrive from the CD does nothing. Also, if you check out the .cda file it'll be like 1kb. It just points to the CD, once you take the CD out it means nothing." I checked and the file on this CD is indeed only 1kb. Does this mean my friend didn't actually copy the lecture, but only something like an alias? Rebecca
