netscape 7/mozilla?

Anyone using netcape 7/mozilla in OS X have an idea if there's a way to 
setup either an icon or a quick key combo to Send Unsent Messages?
Seems silly to have icon and key combo to Get Msgs without it.

Also, I have Preferences set that when I go Online, to send messages, 
but when I dial up and get "on" nothing happens.
What do "Offline" and "Online" mean in netscape talk?
