Batteries ibook G3 -> g4 ?

I myself am in the same situation. Electronically, they are very 
similar in voltage and the ibook one has some more amps but there is no 
reason why it wouldn't work otherwise.Unfortunately, they do not fit 
physically. I have tried.

I do have the 12" 867 model, maybe the new 1Ghz's are different? I 
Doubt it but its worth an shot.
