Yes, you'll need 10.2 to upgrade. All updates for the third decimal are free from Apple and will update through the update utility in System Preferences. But! Instead of buying 10.2 (Jaguar), get 10.3 (Panther) the current version that you hear us talking about. It is just too cool for words!
