Both Extensis and iView give free time limited demos -- I'd try them both -- right now I'm playing with iView on my iBook G4. I like it so far, but the $160 price is a little steep. Compared to Extensis, iView very quickly imported my iPhoto library --- (about 1500) in less then 2min... Extensis took about 15mins for the import... I also like the image editing capabilities of iView as well as the ability to build a cataloged CD-ROM of images -- (not yet tested).
