*** I know it's not done but I'll give an answer to my own question: The
only way to make the Airport card work with the WEP is to generate through
the web interface, copy it to the clipboard and create a new network,
connect to the Airport network and paste the WEP key with a "$" prefix
(that's a dollar sign).
