Updated to 10.2.4 -> ibook can't see camera anymore

Hello people ... 

Well .. Took me only 8 or so nights of downloading, but now I have upgraded
to 10.2.4 as well .. And first thing I am trying out is connecting my Casio
Exilim camera, which has worked greatly with never ever having to install
any drivers .. But now .. Nada ... From time to time OSX says "the drive you
inserted cannot be read by OSX" ... Hmm

Any ideas ? I am running iPhoto 2 and did "repair disk permissions" after
install.
