[P1] iBook won't recognize keyboard commands at startup.

Jkirk,

Tried both a Shorter USB Keyboard, off of a Blueberry iMac, and one of
the new extended ones, from a G4 iMac.  No luck with either one. I
double checked and the numlock isn't on.
