Strong points, of which I was fully aware before I installed. Yes, curiosity is one thing, but one has to understand the steps they're taking. In fact, If I recall the readme it warns strongly against installing on anything but testbed computers, and to avoid at all costs any systems running in 'mission critical' applications. Data loss is likely, and I figure I may have to do a clean install before I've cleared up this problem. If I have fouled the battery permanently, in some way, with 10.3, I accept that as my cost for having used the system. Though, from what I had seen, come October-ish (or, whenever we finally get it) I'll have my credit card ready. andy
