Yes, I solved all my AOL problems, every single one, about 3 years ago. I
switched to a real ISP. But before you write that off as a smartass, useless
answer, my understanding is that a great number of AOL users only stay
because they're afraid of getting lost in the world if they change email
addresses. But AOL offers a service where, if you quit, they'll forward your
emails to any new email address you want for just $3 a month (or at least
that's about what it cost me back then.) I had my AOL email forwarded for
about a year and a half before everybody (clients, friends, family, etc.)
finally got used to my new email address, and then I quit them completely.
