I Got Dem Holiday Inn Blues

Friday afternoon: I'm staying in a Holiday Inn in Madison, WI this 
weekend. The desk answers the phone proclaiming "FREE HIGH-SPEED 
INTERNET ACCESS IN ALL ROOMS". they neglect to mention "FOR WINDOZE 
ONLY."

However, since I have a certain amount of downtime between wedding 
activities, I've been tormenting the guys at the ISP. They're very 
pleasant but don't really know what to make of Macs.

They have no list of IP numbers.

I'm waiting for a phone message that will contain proper IP and DNS  numbers.

Monday afternoon: Back home. No resolution to the problem.

The only good thing to come of this is a declaration from the guy I 
talked to that making Mac compatibility better is "a high priority". 
Anybody who stays in one of these properties should keep their heels 
to the fire and keep us posted.
