Well, let's see.....the top cover is opaque white instead of clear 
which gives it a 'paper white' color instead of the nice translucent 
effect. The inside palm rest area....the entire piece surrounding the 
keyboard is a grayish white plastic instead of the great techie looking 
metal. Nothing earth shattering but the 'ice' effect was classy and the 
'snow' looks sorta cheap.
