Should I worry? Screen dims when moved

I have a 600 MHz icebook, early model bought Oct 2001, under Applecare 
, and just today the screen became black when I would move it. This 
happened many times all day, and the angle it happened at was variable. 
If I would move the screen, it would become backlit again. It is not 
happening now.

Should I call Tech Support? Is this a known problem? If so, does it 
generally get better/worse?
