SPSS

Well, if we want to talk cool statistics packages, SYSTAT came out with
their "windows" interface for Mac in 1991.

Unfortunately, SPSS bought out SYSTAT and never produced another Mac
version.

If you are feeling really geeky, go to a library and page thru the back of
the Scientific American's and old MacUser and MacWorld magazines. All the
old science packages came out for Mac first, with a better interface.

Trying to stay on topic (cough), I would go with more RAM; if you are having
problems entering data in the editor, I would hope it is simply a RAM
problem.

And yes, I still run SYSTAT 5.2.1 on my iBook 800, although more for grins
and giggles than anything else.
