I agree. Unless recently changed, my cable modem provider doesn't support Macs at all. However, I have been using mine for 2-3yrs. In order to do so, I had to lie and say I have a PC, just to get them to set me up. If you are connecting via Ethernet, there shouldn't be any problem.
