I have also found that if I place my quicktime movies inside a powerpoint presentation that playback at larger frame sizes improves and the 'stutter' you've been noticing goes away. Don't have a clue why that would be - but I've recently made a few movies on my 500 ibook that I've played back in PP with better results than in quicktime or keynote. Dan
