A pal of mine was the shepherd of Apple's Cray supercomputers, which they used for design work. So there's an example of a non-Apple computer Apple was using. The late Seymour Cray was amused to note that, while Apple was buying Crays to design new machines, he was using an Apple to design the Cray-2. They don't make Crays any more, so I'm not sure what my friend is doing these days. I think he works at Sun, after a decade or more at Apple. -- ___ O~~* /_) ' / / /_/ ' , , ' ,_ _ \|/ / / - ~ -~~~~~~~~/_) / / / / / / (_) (_) / / / _\~~~~~~~~~~~zap! /__// \ (_) (_) / | \ | | Bill Higgins Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory \ / - - Internet: higgins at fnal.gov ~ New!
