Strange, I'm less extreme but in some ways opposite for opposite 
reasons -- I don't take special care with the iBook, but tend to baby 
the company's Smelly Dell because I'm afraid it will break. The iBook 
just feels like it can handle whatever gets thrown at it.

BTW, e.mkeene, your msg that started this thread was one great piece of 
writing!
