Diskwarrior 2 and before has an optimizer. You have to run it from the 
CD. However, due to OS X's enormous number of files, it is rather slow. 
DW 3 does not have an optimizer. It does offer a new drive check 
feature.

Also, journaling now standard for internal drives in Panther is a bit 
of a problem for optimizers.
