What this probably means is you have a more serious problem with 
corruption than Disk Utility can fix; it may not have caused any 
problems, yet, but if left alone it probably will, sooner or later.

You can either reformat the drive before you install (if you've backed 
up your files), or repair the corruption with a more fully-featured 
disk repair utility, like Disk Warrior, or Drive 10. Something like 
this is well worth the expense if you don't make regular backups of 
important files, and can really be a lifesaver when disaster strikes.
