    Actually I didn't see it because I use Entourage for mail instead of
Mail, but apparently you can now use animated GIF files as well as static
jpg files. That Frodo picture is actually an animated GIF designed for AIM.
Until recently Macs couldn't animate them in iChat, for example, but now
they can. So I can they are now animated in mac.com mail as well. Maybe it
started in Jaguar or maybe in Panther. (I didn't join this list until after
upgrading to Panther.)
