I leave mine on 24/7 with no problems.
Hey you have wind power out there!  Lets hope you don't have brown outs!
;-).  I'm in the Hollywood Hills, and of course no one in the hills had
brown outs much less black outs, at least not with the likes of Johnny
Cochran, Brad Pitt, Gina Davis, Diane Keaton as a neighbors.
