[P1] laser printer suggestions

I have a Lexmark Optra laser printer I got a couple of years ago.
It was $300 new, and has PostScript emulation (the only way to
fly, IMHO, especially when dealing with a Un*x system).

My only gripe with it is that it sometimes wants to grab a whole
bunch of paper at once, often resulting in a printer jam.

Cart's are about $120 for 5000 pages... I think Lexmark started
using the anti-cloner/recycler chip after this printer came out,
but I also haven't found any third-party sources for cartridges.
