[P1] OS X 10.3 Early Adopter

Just upgraded my iBook 700/640 today.
I'm having a minor problem.
The system insists on displaying Script Editor screens.
Even after running the 'force quit' application, it keeps coming back 
with two blank screens - 'Untitled' and 'Untitled2'.
I find this annoying.
Anyone with ideas?
Other than this, my laptop seems to be running OK.
(I need a new driver for my Lexmark X83 all-in-one printer - but that's 
a separate issue)
