[P1] replacement power supply for icebook

Madsonline has an interesting adaptor listed - The Generation Gap. 
If I'm reading it right, it will allow me to use my older clamshell 
power adaptor on my newer iceBook.  Now that would be handy, and I 
wouldn't have to keep swapping power supplies all the time.

Anyone tried this device?  I though it was more difference between 
the two kinds of power adaptors than just the plug.
