I think you are either looking for an animated GIF, a Flash animation, or perhaps even a small QuickTimemovie. If you want to go the GIF-route, there is a freeware app here: http://www.stone.com/GIFfun/GIFfun_by_Stone_Design.html But if you want to go the Flash route, you probably have to buy Macromedia Flash MX, which is kinda expensive, and a bit hard to get into. If you have a video camera, you could probably use iMovie with some of the filters to change the color of the liquid, I guess, and then export it as a small QuickTime movie.
