There you can order refurb airport cards for $60. Work great for me so far. > 2) Am I limited to 802.11B, or can I boost it to 802.11G (Extreme)? On your laptop you are limited to .11b > 3) I think the wireless router can be 802.11G (for future capabilities) > even if the iBook is 802.11B. Is that true? I've been told that if any node is running .11b all comms are at .11b rates. I'd go for the cheapest .11b access point you can find with 4 ethernet ports. If you're using a usb printer - consider one with usb print server built in - although they are more expensive and compatibility may be an issue. By the time you're ready to upgrade .11g will be cheap or superseaded - IMHO. Best Dan
